Friday Seafood Dinner
6:00 to 8:30 p.m.; included with "Lovers' Packages"
A tradition at Hilltop, the Friday Seafood Buffet has a decidedly New Orleans' flavor and provides the perfect respite after a long workweek. The buffet features fresh boiled and pickled shrimp, seafood gumbo, salads, crawfish Etouffee, lemon-battered catfish and shrimp, stuffed crabs, Jambalaya, Alaskan snow crab legs and red beans and rice. Dessert is bread pudding in Jack Daniels sauce.

Saturday Italian Dinner
6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Our Executive Chef, Jimmy Mitchell, prepares a new menu every Saturday incorporating the freshest seasonal ingredients and using herbs from the adjacent garden. The buffet-style meal typically includes soup, a salad bar, two entrees, two side dishes, two vegetables, fresh bread, and dessert.

Week Night Dinners
6:00 p.m.
Our monthly newsletter and the Specials Section of our Website announce our availability for weekly meals. These may be plated or served buffet-style but always feature soup and salad bar, entrée and side dish, fresh bread and dessert.

White Linen
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays; included with "Lovers' Packages"
This elegant three-course meal is delivered to your cabin and served by candlelight by a butler. The appetizer course includes smoked salmon with garnishes and an assortment of cheeses, crackers and fruit. The entrée features roasted vegetables, sliced sirloin with horseradish aioli, and sliced pork tenderloin with mango chutney. Dessert consists of cheesecake, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a giant chocolate Kiss. A bottle of chilled champagne, (or your choice of non-alcoholic wine or sparkling water) complete this thoroughly romantic dining experience.

Traditional Dinner
7 p.m. on the last Saturday of the month
This special, five-course gourmet dinner is offered once a month in a cozy, private room-The Maple-and is limited to only 22 guests. Chef Mitchell carefully assembles the herb-enhanced menu and the wines to complement each course. This is a leisurely culinary event that begins with cocktails and a couple of Appetizers and followed by Soup, Salad, Entrée, and Dessert. Our Executive Chef, and often a representative from the featured winery, attend the event and are available to answer questions. Gourmet coffee included.


Featured Meals - Lunch


Sunday Brunch
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; included with "Lovers' Packages"
Features all the breakfast favorites including waffles and omelettes made-to-order. Lunch entrees may include salmon in artichoke and caper sauce and beef medallions in burgundy sauce accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and crispy vegetable medleys. Brunch also features a soup of the day and Hilltop's signature salad sprinkled with roasted seeds and accompanied by croutons, jalapeno jelly and a choice of Hilltop's specialty dressings. The dessert table always features at least five offerings, which may include Hilltop apple pie cake, lemon icebox pie and brownies.

Traditional Lunch
11:30 a.m. on Thursdays and upon request
Offered to groups of 15 or more, these elaborate culinary events begin with a guided tour of the Herb Garden, browsing at the Gift Shop, and a tasting of Hilltop's jams, jellies and chutneys. The sit down lunch features four courses: soup or appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert. The meal is a leisurely affair enhanced by the Chef's personal comments on dish preparation and use of herbs and seasonings.

Picnic Baskets for Couples
12:00 p.m. on Saturday; included with "Lovers' Packages"
These baskets typically include gourmet sandwiches, chilled salads, scrumptious brownies, fresh fruit and a bottle of White Zinfandel (or non-alcoholic cider). Guests pick them up at the restaurant at noon and can enjoy them anywhere on the resort's grounds; a tablecloth is included.

Picnic Baskets for Families
11:30 a.m. on Saturdays
These fun, delicious baskets include crispy fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, green salad, cookies, fresh fruit, bottled water, energy drinks and juice. Guests pick these up at the restaurant at noon and can enjoy them anywhere on the resort's grounds; a tablecloth is included.

Breakfast
Served on Saturdays and on weekdays between Memorial Day and August 15 (included with most Log Cabin and Log Suite rentals-please note that some privately-owned cabins don't include this service)
Offerings typically include scrambled eggs, egg casseroles, grits, biscuits and gravy, ham in burgundy wine jelly, grilled sausages, French toast, fresh granola, yogurt and cereals, assorted fruit and freshly baked goods. Juice, coffee, milk and a variety of Hilltop's own jams and jellies are also offered. *Hilltop's famous trademark brand.

Breakfast Buffet
8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and daily, except Sundays, from Memorial Day through August 15; included with log cabin and log suite stays.
Offerings typically include scrambled eggs, egg casseroles, biscuits and gravy, ham in burgundy wine jelly, grilled sausages or apple-smoked bacon, French toast, fresh granola, yogurt and cereals, assorted fruit and freshly baked goods. Juice, coffee, milk and a variety of Hilltop's own jams and jellies are included.
