These are privately-owned properties located in the adjacent Artesian Lakes residential community and managed by The Retreat at Artesian Lakes. Rates on these houses cannot be reduced or negotiated by staff.

All reservations for these properties require security deposits of $200, refundable 48 hours after departure following a detailed inspection of the premises. These properties are strictly No-Smoking environments with evidence of smoking incurring a $400 deodorizing fee.

Stays in most of these properties don't include breakfast or horse drawn carriage rides. Breakfast can be purchased separately when making reservations. [Rental Policies]

Located on a secluded spot surrounded by majestic trees and offering a spectacular view of Doc's Lake and The Levee, Stelindo offers two well-appointed entertaining areas and up to three elegant bedrooms.

The main floor features a Great Room with large windows, fireplace and stereo system, western-style furniture, and dining area; a state-of-the-art kitchen; and a powder room dubbed the Out House. A gorgeous outdoor deck offers lounge chairs, a dining set and a large grill.

Downstairs, a media room offers a small pool table (with ping-pong option), a large flat screen television set with surround sound, a semi-circular leather sofa, popcorn machine, microwave oven, small fridge, wet bar, and book/DVD library. The area also includes a screened in patio and a storage closet/mud room accessible directly from the attached garage.

The "Texas Room" is adjacent to the media room and features a plush queen size bed, an enclosed flat screen television set, fireplace, direct access to the covered patio, and a master bath with double vanity, enclosed toilet, large closet, and a huge Jacuzzi tub/shower with "his" and "hers" shower heads.

Two additional bedrooms located upstairs-the "Bluebonnet" and "Sunflower" rooms-feature western décor and include plush queen size beds, spacious closets and private bathrooms with tub/shower combination. All bedroom suites include pampering toiletries and two robes.

Outside, this magnificent home features a boat dock, a floating entertaining dock, and a stone fire ring with surrounding benches. Stays in this property include use of a six-person pontoon boat, a four-person golf cart, three bicycles, and two fishing poles.

Your adventure begins at the private entry cove, walking up one of two access ramps, and entering the home through a high-ceilinged foyer accented by a mural of nature.

Designed for six-adult occupancy and gatherings of up to 15 people, The Lake House features an open central social and dining area adjoining a full kitchen, all with a spectacular view of the lake and wooded surroundings. Equipped with modern appliances, pantry room, and utility room with washer and dryer, extended stays are readily accommodated. Satellite TV and wireless DSL service are provided for connection to the outside world.
Each of three bedroom suites has its own bath and private access to the wraparound porch. The master suite features a lake view, king size bed, walk-in closet, and a large bath with walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, and his and hers vanities. Each of the two guest suites offers a queen size bed, walk-in closet, large vanity, and walk-in shower.

Walking out on the spacious lanai is truly an experience of what Artesian Lakes is all about. Situated high above the lake, the deck area invites nature observation, entertainment, or peaceful relaxation. Descending the stairway from the lanai, one discovers a boat deck below. Many visitors find it a shady spot to just sit and enjoy the breeze. This area is designed to take off on the electric-powered boat provided for an adventure in exploring and fishing 81 acres of five connected lakes. This six-bedroom, wheelchair accessible log home has a Great Room with large windows overlooking one of the most beautiful lakes in this community and featuring a fireplace, a large flat screen television set, internet access, an adjacent gourmet kitchen and dining area. A powder room and laundry closet are located down the hall.

The six bedrooms include a master suite with king size bed and luxuriously large bathroom with walk-in double shower, large Jacuzzi tub and double vanities. Another bedroom is also furnished with king-size beds, two are furnished with queens, and two with two sets of bunk beds with double bottoms and twin tops. The house has a total of four bathrooms and a spacious loft with a sofa bed and a day bed with trundle.

The exterior is a nature lover's paradise, featuring balconies, wrap around decking, under house parking, several picnic tables, a grill and a long bridge connecting the house to its own intimate island, which has been unobtrusively set-up with a with fire ring and circular benches. Downstairs features two more bedrooms: one furnished with a queen bed and one with two sets of twin beds with trundles and an additional bathroom with shower/tub combination.

The house has two sets of stairs leading to a covered deck surrounding it and including a very spacious front deck ideal for entertaining. Rental of this property includes use of a grill.

The living area includes a living room with stone fireplace, comfortable furnishings, dining area, separate fully-equipped kitchen and powder room.

The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and its bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

The upstairs offers two identical bedrooms furnished with queen size beds and connected by a bathroom with shower/Jacuzzi tub combination. The loft area outside the bedrooms is furnished with a day bed with trundle.
