Bicycle Riding
Bring your own and enjoy the trails! A "parking" rack is located in front of the Hospitality House.

Boating
Canoe and Kayak rentals are available at The Stables, an independent onsite concessionaire.
$30 for 24 hours; $25 for 8 hours and $20 for 4 hours with $20 security deposit required for paddles and life jackets. Cash only.

Bonfires with S'mores at Hospitality Park
Every Saturday evening (weather permitting!); sign up at the Front Desk.
$5.00 per person plus sales tax

Cooking Classes, including lunch, at Hilltop Herb Farm Restaurant
Available with advanced reservations for groups of 10 or more by calling 4015
$45 per person

Fishing
Fishing at The Retreat's lakes (located outside the gates shown on map) is available to all overnight guests at no charge. No license required. Bass is strictly "catch-and-release."

Blue Gill Pond, located next to The Stables, is an ideal and popular fishing spot for children. Bait and basic gear are available in our sundries store.
Honor-system with rules posted on sign.

Fishing in Private Lakes (located inside the gates shown on map) is available with reservations through the Front Desk
$80 per person, per day

Herb Garden Tours (on hold while garden undergoes construction!)
Guided tours are available for groups of 10 or more; sign up at Front Desk
$5 per person

Hiking
Self-guided hiking is available through miles of wooded trails crisscrossing The Retreat's grounds. Maps are available at the front desk.

Horseback Riding
Available on weekends-and daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day-through The Stables, an independent onsite concessionaire. Guided, 45-mintue trail rides and corral pony rides for children under 5. Reservations must be made at The Stables. Please note that The Stables opens only if weather permits.
$15 per person for trail rides; $10 per child for corral rides. Cash Only.

Playground Equipment
Available near Swim Lake and behind Blue Gill Pond.

Pontoon Boat Rentals (only two boats available)
Available only with the "Ultimate Lovers' Package" through Front Desk
$100 for 8 hours with advanced reservations

Restaurant
Please visit the Hilltop Herb Farm Restaurant section for details on featured meals and special events. Call 832 397-4020 or the Front Desk for reservations.
Friday: New Orleans-style seafood dinner - 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: Italian Dinner - 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday: Brunch - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
"Traditional Lunch" is offered every Thursday at 11:30 for groups of 15 or more.
"Traditional Dinner" is offered the last Saturday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Spa Services
Available daily with advanced reservations through the Front Desk
Facials-available only in the privacy of your own cabin: $45
Massage Therapy-in the Massage Room or the privacy of your cabin:
$40 for 30 minutes; $70 for 60 minutes and $110 for 90 minutes.
Seaweed Wraps-available only in the privacy of your own cabin: $90

Swimming
Available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. Beach towels available at Front Desk
Swimming pool with children's wading area, hot tub, and waterfalls.
Natural lake fed by Artesian well water and surrounded by a sandy beach and featuring two giant water slides.

Volleyball
Nets available across from Log Suites, near Swim Lake and near Blue Gill Pond (volleyballs are available at the Front Desk--$5 deposit required)
